Since our MP of more than 17 years, Jay Hill, announced last summer that he would be retiring from federal politics, your board of directors has been preparing for the candidate nomination process to select his successor as the Conservative Party candidate in our riding. Jay’s retirement from federal politics is a loss to the Parliament of Canada and to our riding. We plan to formally celebrate his years of service, later this year.

The nomination process officially opened on January 24, and Monday, February 14, was both the deadline to submit an application to be a contestant in the race, and to become a member eligible to vote at a nomination meeting.

Please see over, for the location of the nomination meeting most convenient to you.NOMINATION MEETINGS Registration opens 1 hour before speeches – arrive early to avoid lineups.
